Objectives:
· To live communicative situations where the English Language is employed in order to establish social contact;
· To identify and name school objects;
· To recognize the situations where indefinite and definite articles are employed;
· To understand and use simple commands.
Activities:
1st Class:
§ Ice Breaker: The Names’ Chain
§ Explanation: Methodology, book, evaluations, etc.
§ Teach them some useful expressions in English, e.g., “How do I say ____ in English”, How do you spell _____?”, “Can you repeat, please?”, “May I go to the restroom?”, etc.
§ Book: - Dialog pages 4 and 5.
- Activities pages 6 (all) and 7 (Commands)
§ Game: Stand Up/ Sit Down
§ Create a dialog and present to the class (in pair or groups of 3)

2nd Class:
§ In a circle, take school objects from a box, and ask students whether they know these things’ names.
§ Memory Game: After they are familiarized with the names of the school objects, play the memory game with pictures/names.
