Objectives:
· To identify some pronunciation and vocabulary particularities between British and American English, recognizing their differences in an inclusive way;
· Review the forms and situations where the Verb To Be should be employed in the Simple Present;
· Identify the process of formation of the Past Continuous Tense, using this verb tense in concrete situations.

§ Ice Breaker: The Names’ Chain
§ Explanation: Methodology, book, evaluations, etc.
§ Remember some useful expressions in English, e.g., “How do I say ____ in English”, How do you spell _____?”, “Can you repeat, please?”, “May I go to the restroom?”, etc.
§ Warm Up: Compare Portuguese from Brazil and Portuguese from Portugal (also Brazilian Portuguese from the North and the South, among others)
§ Homework: - Match the Columns, page 9 (try to find words that present just some spelling differences, look the other words up on the dictionary)
